This Cookies Policy explains how Show Me Türkiye uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are. Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in to features, and understand how visitors interact with content.
The cookies we use. We use a small number of cookies, grouped as follows.
Your choices. When you first visit, we show a cookie notice. Essential cookies and analytics cookies are always active: essential cookies because the site cannot work without them, and analytics so we can understand how the site is used. We do not use marketing cookies today; if we add them, they will only be placed with your consent. You can review your choices at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.
Essential cookies. These keep the site functional, for example by remembering your language choice and that you have made a cookie choice. The site does not work properly without them, so they cannot be turned off, and no consent is required for them.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where visitors came from, in aggregate form, to improve our content and structure. IP anonymisation is enabled. These cookies are provided by services whose servers may be located outside Türkiye, which means data is transferred abroad. You can block them at any time through your browser settings.
Affiliate links. When you click a link to a booking partner such as GetYourGuide, Booking, Agoda, Trip.com, Kiwitaxi, Busbud, or DiscoverCars, that partner may set its own cookie on its own site to track whether your visit results in a booking. This allows us to receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. These cookies are set by the partner, on the partner's website, under its own privacy and cookie policies, only after you choose to follow the link.
What we collect through analytics. Analytics data may include your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you reached the site. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site and we do not use it to identify you personally.
Managing your choices. You can review your cookie choices at any time using the button below. Separately, most browsers let you view, manage, or block cookies through their privacy or security settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some features from working as expected.
Legal basis. We process essential cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working website. We process analytics cookies, with IP anonymisation, on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how the website is used. You have the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK, including the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, and to request deletion. Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on how to respond to this signal, so we do not currently change our behaviour based on it. You can still control cookies directly through your browser as described above.
Updates to this policy. We may update this policy as our use of cookies evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
